Entre los días 28 de septiembre y 1 de octubre de este año se celebrará en Vigo el Congreso "4th IGCP 526 Conference on Continental Shelves: Risks, Resources and Record of the Past". Esta conferencia está organizada por el Grupo de Geología Marina y Ambiental de la Universidad de Vigo.
El 27 de septiembre se impartirá el curso: "TECHNIQUES OF SAMPLING AND GEOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF MARINE SEDIMENTS".
